			Director of Arts
				Welcome to the Illini Union Board! My name is Kevin Fritz and I am honored to be the 2008 Director of Arts. My hometown is 738 miles to the East, Allentown Pennsylvania to be exact – like the Billy Joel song! I am currently a sophomore pursuing a B.S. in Healthcare Administration. After I graduate, I plan to go to law school and become a Healthcare Attorney…but we’ll see! Aside from my passion for student programming, I also enjoy politics and government, and currently serve as a senator for the Illinois Student Senate. As Director of Arts, I oversee many facets of artistic expression across campus: Art Gallery, Craft Fairs, Student Performing Arts, and Theatrical Productions. · The Art Gallery Committee is responsible for researching and finding exhibits to display in the art gallery, located on the first floor of the Illini Union in the northwest corner of the building. · IUBazaar and Mom’s Day Craft Fair give members the opportunity to work with outside vendors and businesses to come together in the Union and sell their unique items and products. · Student Performing Arts is a great way for students to have the opportunity to showcase their talents. This committee highlights student’s skills in areas such as comedy, theater, and music. · Theatrical Productions is a new area that produces an bi-annual Murder Mystery Theater program, in addition to short plays and one-act performances.
